Not often do I stumble upon an act of such grace and beauty that mesmerizes my senses so unstoppingly. This a such a gorgeous take on our human condition as it relates to Nature's creation of winged friends. I am honored to be among God's creation coexisting with birds.
Yes, and yes. Thank you for finding words I could not, as I sit here in silence, in awe of the gifts given through this extraordinary poet and musician.
Matt, creating and composing while keeping in mind Chloe’s incredible ability to write, the cadence of her voice, and matching theme to sound , could not have been an easy task. But it is one you have so beautifully accomplished.
“May his music and my voice carry you to the in between. We’ll meet you there…”
My entire being ,fluid, held in rapture, cradled, gently caressed by words, voice, musical notes lifted by wings. What tears of joy feel like when they are softly forming. An intensely beautiful collaboration.♥️🪽
There are some pairings that compliment each other so completely, you cannot see a seem between them. This is such an exquisite collaboration and filled me with such peace and stillness this rainy Sunday, Father's Day. Thank you both. I hope there will be more like this.
very kind of you, Ben. thank you so so much. Chloe is just the greatest, and I'm honored to share in this exquisite piece of hers. Also, I really hope that father's day is actually next weekend, otherwise my family really dropped the ball 😅
This is a beautiful gift, Chloe, Matt. A reminder to pause in the liminal spaces, to not rush through them, to not hurry along to the resolution back to mystery, but to accept and find peace in being held by your soft and confident hand 💛
Oh, Chloe...reading just the first paragraph was like a bolt of awareness that catapulted me in a space where I, like a disoriented goldfinch, could get myself together and continue the flight. Thank you for your wonderful prose infused with world-dreaming.
birds as the divinely favored ones. oh yes, and if there comes a time when i am injured or closing in on my own death, it would be an honor to have a winged one hold me in a feathered embrace...perhaps even singing/speaking in their language "shhhh, it's okay." what a gift that would be. and thank you for the musical composition by Matt. such a delightful accompaniment.
Chloe: Once again your beautiful reflection touching this soul, “A reflection of something closer to the essence of nature herself, something which contains the eternal pulse of opposites, and the liminal tension which binds them. Being and non-being, heart-beat and heart-pause, eastern and western sun. Music…silence.”
Silence indeed, yesterday I started a poem about Silence - how it will embrace the thought to express its mystery, its spaciousness, its still-point and calm is still unfolding petal by petal into words.
Durga, I am glad and honoured that this reached you. Silence as the language of the non-dual is one of those things that immediately made the most perfect sense to me, as soon as I heard it...
I once held a Cedar waxing for 40 minutes. Really only cupped her. The experience reminded me that one (all the ones) needs to sit like this more often, and then what may come to live/life. Thank you for the reminder.
Chloe—your voice, and Matt—your composition, created a template inside my cells today, something I will return to countless times when life requests stillness, a neutral nervous system, a heart pause after the heart beat. Thank you for this transfiguring gift.
"Every sacred thing holds a nascent conclusion, a genetic knowing of the need to resolve oneself—to return oneself—to the mystery from which it came."
So much truth and beauty here
Thank you so much, Yolande 🤍

Thank you, Anne! That would be a pretty wonderful way to exit, wouldn't it...
thank you, Anne ❤️
How utterly beautiful. Thank you, Chloe and Fog Chaser! Maybe music is as close as we bipedals can get to flight.
Thank you, Nia! And, yep, I absolutely think you're onto something there. Matt's essentially giving us flying lessons...
🕊️
thank you for the kind words, Antonia!
Thank you for the beautiful and wingéd music!
I listened to this in the dark and stillness, 5.30am … eyes closed, waves of yellow pulsating behind my eye lids, it became a meditation 🙏😊
Oh, I am glad to know it Simone, thank you...
